History
Young’s Electrical Contracting was founded by Barry Young in 2000 and joined by partner Jerry Locke in 2001. Barry and Jerry built the business together until Jerry passed away suddenly in January 2005. The business continued to grow due to the strength and commitment of our skilled and dedicated staff. We currently have twenty employees who are ready to offer excellent service. Barry is a hands-on owner and is always available to offer you the benefit of his many years of experience in the electrical field.

The Years Before
Barry Young completed a four year apprenticeship program and two years as a journeyman before becoming a master electrician in the State of Connecticut. He ran a thriving electrical contracting business in Connecticut for ten years before moving to Florida in 1997, acquiring his State of Florida license and starting Young’s Electrical Contracting. He now holds unlimited electrical contracting licenses in both Connecticut and Florida.
